Wanted to drop you an E-mail to say thank you very much for the Concerto+ phono preamp. It arrived in excellent condition and the inside looks great. I only had the Concerto+ operating for approximately 10 hours but it already sounds marvelous and can't wait until it breaks in.

My other phono preamp is an solid-state Audio Research PH-1. The PH-1 is very nice with accurate reproduction but a bit analytical. I mainly do phonograph record transcription to CD and was looking for a little vacuum tube magic as CDs made with the PH-1 were a little dry and not really interesting. Test recordings with the Concerto+ are very promising! I appreciate the 54dB of gain as I drive an industrial A->D converter with balanced inputs and the little extra gain makes it easier to match levels with very low residual noise.

The Concerto+ is an excellent product! I will be interested in buying a Symphonies+ preamp and a tube amp at a later date. Thanks again and appreciate the fine service.
